Spirit behind this poster
True meaning of power:
PROMOTING OTHERS WELFARE, EARNING RESPECT.
I have great admiration for President Abraham Lincoln (1809 – 1865) who was the 16th President of the United States. He exemplifies how human spirit can triumph against all odds. Despite an impoverished beginning, with a life peppered with generous dose of struggles, he eventually rose to the highest position of power becoming President of United States. That's a phenomenal achievement for someone who never went to a regular school and who self taught mathematics, writing and reading skills. While in power, he used it for improving the lives of American people. He brought a notable turning point in U.S. History by passing the 'Slavery abolition bill” called as the thirteenth amendment to the United States Constitution. When someone is privileged to be in a position that bestows considerable power, they must use it for the welfare of others as illustrated by great leaders. That automatically earns them respect.
