Motivation behind this

SME is popularly known as Small and Medium Enterprise.  They may not be large and famous like some of the the big consumer brands but they are usually the silent growth engines in many economies.  They may be small, but many of them represent smartly managed enterprises as they drive innovations, exports, employment and overall economic growth.  They are not often celebrated as much as the big brands but they play a crucial role in many economies.  Hence I thought the SME acronym needs a re-purposed expansion that truly reflects who they are.
